Privacy-first browsers look to take the shine off Google’s Chrome

“I think Cambridge Analytica acted as a catalyst to get people aware that their data could be used in ways they didn’t expect,” said Peter Dolanjski, the product lead for Mozilla’s Firefox.

But the buckos over at Slashdot pointed out, no browser that uses offline telemetry, and that includes MS Edge and IE *and* Firefox, is anywhere near what you’d consider private. If you want private browsing, your best bet is Tor, but I am planning to try out Brave first.
