Did the world end in 2012?

Admittedly, it would answer a lot of awkward questions. This guy Hinton says we managed to destroy the universe in 2012 with the Higgs Boson and now we’re in a crappier alternative timeline. Or hell. Or both. Gotta admit the original twitter thread makes a certain kind of demented sense.
